This is Russell with Adobe Commerce. This session, it’s focused on Adobe Commerce as a cloud service and to get you that core understanding of its purpose and highlight some of the benefits and features. So Adobe Commerce as a cloud service is designed to offer flexibility, scalability, and efficiency, helping businesses scale their digital operations and innovate faster. So let’s start with some key features. First, it’s cloud native. This means it has elastic auto-scaling, automatically adjusting resources to meet peak demands. Plus, it’s always up to date. This eliminates the need for manual patching and upgrading. The storefront is deployed on the edge, providing exceptional performance and reduced latency. Onboarding is simplified. With self-service provisioning, you can launch sandboxes or even production instances in just a few minutes. Everything is automatically provisioned and configured, making the setup process straightforward and efficient. Adobe Commerce as a cloud service features a composable architecture. Each service can be deployed, scaled, and updated independently. It supports an API first extensibility, allowing developers to easily replace or extend services with third-party solutions. This modern approach lets you select and integrate only the services that you need. It also has pre-configured services. And what I mean by this is that includes merchandising tools, there’s an optimized storefront, and you can create new features and extend core ones through Adobe Developer App Builder. All of these are examples of those pre-configured services and that they’re automatically provisioned and integrated, saving you time and effort. Automatic updates are another great feature. With continuous delivery of new features and patches, the consideration for how and when to upgrade, and of course the amount of effort for upgrades, they’re completely removed. Now what will happen is you’ll receive an in-app notification of these new updates. And that gives you 30 days to evaluate them in your sandbox before they’re applied to production. And the best part is, is that Adobe guarantees backward compatibility, ensuring that these updates won’t break existing functionality. So in summary, Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service enhances the flexibility, scalability, and performance, making it an ideal solution for your dynamic and growing business. So with that, we can wrap up this tutorial on Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service. And as always, I hope you continue to learn more about Adobe Commerce here on Experience League, as well as all of the other Adobe products.
