This is Russell with Adobe Commerce. Our session today is going to cover the Shopper experience on Commerce Storefront powered by Edge Delivery Services. In our first scenario, we’re going to explore some pricing features such as cart price rules and coupon codes. To do so, we first need to add some items to our cart, so we’re going to pick these Emma leggings. And our first configuration to consider is the size, and then color, and then we can also adjust the quantity. And for this we’ll add three of each. And you’ll take notice to the top right there’s a mini cart, and it’s already been updated with our nine items. Using our search feature, we’re going to now search for a bag. How about a yoga bag to go with these leggings? So we’ll choose this Voyage yoga bag, and we’ll add one of these to our cart. We’ll head back to our mini cart, and we’ll see that now there’s a total of ten items, nine leggings, and one bag. So we can click on View Cart, and from this point we can double check things like our total savings. We can see that there’s a special message about a final price on that Voyage bag, and we can see that we have an automatically applied discount of 20%. These cart price rules are automatically applied, no customer actions necessary. But now we can see if we add a coupon code to get an additional discount. This happens at the bottom right of the checkout. We’re going to use a coupon code called dropin123, and when we do, we’ll see there’s even more savings on our Emma leggings. This is how the cart price rules remain, and our coupon codes get applied on top. So now we would head over to checkout, and for this we’re going to check out as a guest. Once we’ve started to fill out the form, several of these fields are required. Things like our name, our address, and usually there’s several of them. Once we’ve gotten past those points, we can double check the taxes, our estimated totals, shipping costs, things like that. If we’re happy and we’re done, we’ll place the order, and then anticipating there are no errors, we’ll end up on our order success page. Also on this order success page, it’s rather easy for a customer to create an account for their next shopping experience. Let’s demonstrate now how a customer finds an order, a guest customer in particular. So to do this, you would use the email address, the zip code, and the order ID. And that order number is provided on the order success page, but it can also be found in the confirmation email. Once those three things are entered, you’ll be presented with the order information. And here you can see important things like the billing, shipping address, the order summary, all of the items that were purchased, and you can also see the discounts that were provided. Let’s demonstrate how a coupon that’s configured to not allow for stacking with other coupons. And in order to do so, the first thing that we’re going to need to do is we need to add some items to our cart. So we’re going to head back to our demo store and we’re going to search for a watch, this Bolo sport watch. We’re going to add that to our cart. And we’re going to go and enter our first coupon code, which is dropin123. And we’ll see that there’s a discount applicable when we use that particular code. We do have a second code and we’ll see if we can stack these two together. This new code is called watch me save. And when we try to enter this, we get a message that says the following coupons could not be applied. What basically happened here is these coupon codes are not compatible with one another, but we do realize that it’s possible to use each coupon code independently and then we can see which one offers our best price. So with this first coupon code dropin123, we get a nice discount, but we’re going to remove it and we’re going to try the second code, watch me save. And when we do, we notice it has a larger savings. And of course, then we could proceed to checkout and complete the order. Logging in during checkout. As a guest visitor enters their email, if we detect this email is associated to an account, a message appears and suggests that they log in for a faster checkout experience. When a guest visitor completes the login process, that guest cart and any existing customer carts are merged together. So all the items would now be in one cart. However, in this example, there was no existing cart, just the one that we added as a guest. Updating a password. After a customer logs in, on the left hand side under my account, then under account settings, you’re going to see a link for change password. And then all you do at this point is enter your old password, and then you’ll enter a new password. And then of course we want you to reenter that same new password to make sure that you have it correct. We also give you the option to see it in plain text if you want to, to verify that everything’s correct. And if everything is correct, you can hit save and you’ll get a nice message saying your password has been updated. Canceling an order. If an order is still in the pending status, it can get canceled. To demonstrate this, I’m going to open up an existing order that’s pending and we’ll find this in our order history section. Once we find that we can click on the cancel order button. And then sometimes depending on configuration, there might be some details for the reason. And if you’re happy and you’re done, just hit submit cancellation. Reordering items from an existing order. In this case, it’s from our recently canceled order. And I’m going to demonstrate how a customer could also use multiple coupon codes in one order. In this order history, we have a canceled order. We’re going to click reorder. Now this old order did have a coupon code that was applied, but those don’t carry over when you reorder. You have to enter that code again. So we’re going to enter the code, watch me save. And once we do, we’ll have a new discount that only applies to watches. Now, the second coupon that I have, it’s only valid on leggings. So I want to use it alongside of that coupon code, watch me save. So I’m going to add a new coupon code called save 10. And that’s going to apply a 10% discount on our leggings. Now, once we’ve done that, we have two coupon codes in use. And of course, then we could proceed to checkout and complete the order. To remove an address, all you need to do is click on my account and go down to addresses. There you’ll potentially see several addresses that have been saved. And then this one, we’re going to go ahead and remove the Michigan one. All you do is you find that address and then you click the remove and you’re going to get prompted to verify. And that’s how easy it is to remove an address. Order history and tracking. Orders are likely to have tracking numbers from a shipping company. So what you’ll do is you’ll look up an order and expand the information and find the tracking number under the package details. And then you can copy that number, paste it into your browser, or sometimes there’s a link depending on configuration, and it will launch a webpage. And in this case, it’s from UPS and it shows the shipment history for this order. Returning an item. So the way we do this is head back to our SAMPA website and you’re going to go to my account. And then you’re going to look up an older order that has an item that you want to return. So we’ll go ahead and launch the site and we’re going to return some leggings that were recently purchased. So we’re going to open that order and we’re going to click on return or replace. And then once we get to that point, there’ll be a checkbox for each appropriate item. And once you do, you check them and then click continue. And sometimes there’s a couple of questions that you have to answer. And when you’re all ready, you’ll click submit. And then assuming there were no errors, you’ll get a very nice success message. So this concludes this session on the Shopper Experience for Commerce Storefront powered by Edge Delivery Services. I hope you continue to learn more about Adobe Commerce here on Experience League as well as all of the other Adobe products.
