Hi, this is Russell with Adobe Commerce. In this session, I’m going to show you how to create your first instance of Adobe Commerce Optimizer. To start, we’re going to double check that we’re in the right org. You might have several assigned to you, and not all of them are going to have entitlements for Commerce. You need to look in that Quick Access section and click on Commerce.
Now it’s time to ensure that you have enough credits. Let’s assume that you do, and we’re going to click Add Instance. From here, you’re going to see two choices, Add Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service and Adobe Commerce Optimizer. We’re going to select Commerce Optimizer. Let’s give it a name, and we’re going to give it a description. And just to note, because I zoomed in a lot for this demo, I need to scroll down, but this likely won’t be an issue for you. Okay, after that, we’re going to select a region. And something to note on that, when I recorded this demo, there was only one available, however more are coming, and they’ll be displayed here. So moving on, it’s time to choose your type of environment. We’re going to do Sandbox. And for Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service, you do have an option to include sample data. However, for this demo on Adobe Commerce Optimizer, we’re not given that option. When you’re ready, you click Add Instance. This process literally takes a few seconds. Now you can just click on the name of your instance to expand it and look at the configurations. At this point, you’re ready for the next step, which is adding your catalog. However, we’ll cover that in another tutorial. Well, that’s it for this session on how to create your first instance of Adobe Commerce Optimizer. I hope you continue to use Experience League to learn more about Adobe Commerce as well as all of the other Adobe products.
