Now let’s talk about the Adobe Commerce global delivery model. Adobe Commerce is a hosted cloud platform that is delivered through a hybrid deployment model. One of Adobe’s unique strengths is the fact that we offer both a foundational cloud platform that includes core commerce functionalities around cart, checkout, orders, customers, and inventory, along with multi-tenant business services such as live search, payment service, product recommendations, and catalog service that work together seamlessly. In addition, we provide a cloud-native unified extensibility layer via Adobe Developer App Builder that is bundled. The Adobe Commerce Foundation is offered as an open and extensible hosted cloud service consisting of a fully redundant multi-cloud infrastructure that provides optimized performance, resilience, and elastic scalability. Available on both AWS and Azure, it provides a secure, automated hosting platform with a self-service approach to building, deploying, monitoring, and managing your commerce application. Commerce Foundation comes complete with scalable architecture, multiple environments, Git-based workflow, content delivery network, web application firewall, image optimization, security monitoring, application and infrastructure level or observability tooling, and comprehensive API coverage out of the box. Adobe Commerce AI and data-driven merchandising functionalities are delivered as a set of intelligent, composable multi-region SaaS services. These are API-first services that are critical to optimizing performance at scale. SaaS services include live search to deliver smarter, faster, and relevant results for shoppers, AI-fueled product recommendations based on shopper behavior, popular trends and product similarity, catalog service to give customers an optimized product experience while boosting performance and improving scalability, and payment services that provide various payment methods, including a single view into payment processing, orders, and invoices. Adobe Commerce provides a suite of bundled developer tools that are all cloud-native serverless offerings. These include API Mesh to coordinate and combine multiple API, GraphQL, REST, and other sources into a single queryable GraphQL endpoint, all running at the edge in over 200 global regions. App Builder to build and deploy secure and scalable web applications that extend commerce functionality and integrate with third-party solutions. Event Triggers to interact with other extensible development tools. And Webhooks to automatically trigger interactions between commerce and third-party systems. Adobe Commerce offers two options for our hosted cloud platform. Commerce on Cloud, which includes secure and dedicated cloud infrastructure with a minimum 99.9% SLA, continuous monitoring and proactive response teams, vertical and horizontal scaling, including web-tier horizontal auto-scaling, and continuous security management. For those who desire a more white-glove approach, we offer Adobe Commerce Managed Services, which provide hosted and managed application and infrastructure for the Adobe Commerce cloud platform. Adobe Managed Services offers key benefits over on-prem and non-managed cloud implementations, including enhanced service-level targets with faster response times than standard Adobe Commerce support. Enhanced service-level agreements that include a 99.9% application-level SLA that Adobe Commerce Managed Service customers get on top of the 99.9% infrastructure-level SLA. A designated customer success engineer that serves as an application and cloud infrastructure expert. The CSE works with customers and their partners, providing them with best practices and guidance to accelerate time to market, including guidance and support through the onboarding process, managing provisioning and platform setup, advice on architectural principles for integrations and customizations, driving incident management and business continuity, providing event support through planning, execution, and monitoring, cloud support and expertise on items such as proactive optimization, reporting, and best practices. And both options come with compliance and security top of mind. PCI compliance, SOC 2 Type 2, and GDPR readiness are included with your commerce license, with HIPAA-ready infrastructure and BAA available as a commerce add-on.
