ACSD-60303: Admin order placement issue resolved with HTML minification enabled

The ACSD-60303 patch fixes the issue where an order from Admin cannot be placed if HTML minification is enabled. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.50 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-60303. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in 2.4.8.

The patch is created for Adobe Commerce version:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.5-p8

Compatible with Adobe Commerce versions:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.4-p9 - 2.4.4-p10, 2.4.5-p8 - 2.4.5-p9, 2.4.6-p6 - 2.4.6-p7
NOTE
The patch might become applicable to other versions with new Quality Patches Tool releases. Issue

Orders cannot be placed from the Admin panel when HTML minification is enabled.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable HTML minification.
  2. Set the Application Mode to Production.
  3. Create an order from the Admin panel.

Expected results:

The order is placed successfully.

Actual results:

The order is not created, and the following error is logged:

report.CRITICAL: ParseError: syntax error, unexpected token "<<" in var/view_preprocessed/pub/static/vendor/magento/module-gift-wrapping/view/adminhtml/templates/order/create/info.phtml:1
