ACSD-46767: Category page caches invalidate when the stock quantity changes

The ACSD-46767 patch fixes the issue where the Category page caches invalidate when the stock quantity changes, even if the product is still in stock. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.46 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-46767. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.6.

Issue

Category page caches invalidate when the stock quantity changes.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a few products and add them to the same category.
  2. Open the Category page on the storefront to ensure the page is cached.
  3. Place the order with one of the products from the category (product quantity is changed, but product is still in stock).
  4. Open the Category page on the storefront again.

Actual Results:

The page doesn’t load from the cache. It is re-generated.

Expected Results:

The page loads from the cache.
