ACSD-53239: Inventory indexer cleans all caches in the Update on Schedule mode

The ACSD-53239 patch fixes the issue where the inventory indexer cleans all caches in the Update on Schedule mode. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.36 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-53239. Please note that the issue was fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.6.

The patch is created for Adobe Commerce version:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.3 - 2.4.5-p4
NOTE

Issue

The inventory indexer cleans all caches in the Update on Schedule mode.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to Admin > Catalog Products and select about 1200 products.

  2. Update Qty to a new value and click Save.

  3. Run bin/magento cron:run immediately after saving.

  4. Run the following GraphQL query:

}

Expected results

The query is processed within the usual amount of time.

Actual results

The query is processed unusually slowly.
