Adobe CX Enterprise application names
This table provides product names and approved second mentions. It is intended for Experience League writers.
CX Enterprise and customer experience orchestration
CX Enterprise (brand name)
- What it is: Brand for a new AI-enabled product portfolio.
- Relationship to Experience Cloud: New brand replaces Experience Cloud. (In tags, this change applies to V2 (V1 tags are not being rebranded)).
- Usage: First use Adobe CX Enterprise; subsequent use CX Enterprise.
- Translation: Not translated.
- Acronyms: Avoid acronyms until the brand is established.
Customer experience orchestration (category/descriptor)
- Use instead of: Digital experience (when describing what products enable, the enterprise value delivered, or the solution category).
- Acronym “CXO”: Do not use CXO unless unavoidable; use the full term until widely adopted.
- Capitalization: Not a branded term/product name—use standard case for common nouns (capitalize only when required, e.g., title metadata).
- “Digital experience” still ok: Acceptable for general user experiences; use best judgment on when to change the term.
About first and second mentions
Use the full product name at first mention. Typically, you only need to drop Adobe for the approved subsequent mention. (See below for exceptions in product names.)
Acronyms are not approved by Marketing. Experience League allows limited use for SEO, AI discovery, and when length is an issue:
- For SEO - You can add an acronym (parenthetically) to the first mention
- TOC entries, description metadata, and headings - Use to reduce lengthy elements
Product names
This list shows approved first and second mentions for CX Enterprise products in documentation published on Experience League. It is aligned with products listed on Adobe Business products. These terms are brands that should remain in English. It is not a comprehensive list of every CX Enterprise product or legacy offering.
