Page versions
In AEM, a page version is a snapshot of a page at a specific point in time. When you make a version, the exact content of the page is retained. You can create page versions either manually from several places or automatically.
View page versions
Versions can be accessed using:
- Sites console timeline
- Page editor Timewarp mode
Manual creation of versions
When managing page versions, you can create a page version, restore the previous version of a page, compare the current page version with a previous page version, and preview the page version.
You can create a version of a resource from the Create menu.
