Create a lookup dataset

In this step, you will create a lookup dataset in Adobe Journey Optimizer to dynamically retrieve reference or transactional data from Adobe Experience Platform during journey runtime. This process allows you to personalize communications based on user interactions, such as submitting an Investment Preference form. You will learn how to set up the dataset lookup activity, associate it with the investment product dataset, and select fields for retrieval to enhance the journey experience.

In this use case, when a user submits an Investment Preference form (Stocks, Bonds, or CDs), the journey dynamically looks up the corresponding investment details from a reference dataset and uses that information to personalize an email.
