Configure a custom SMS provider

In this step, you will learn how to configure a custom SMS provider in Journey Optimizer. This includes setting up API credentials and webhooks for inbound messaging, managing opt-in/opt-out keywords, and launching personalized SMS campaigns using native tools and custom payloads. This new beta feature allows you to use providers beyond the default options, enabling full channel capabilities such as message authoring, personalization, and reporting in both journeys and campaigns.
