Connect your site to tags for personalization

In this step you connect Experience Manager author and the hosted website to tags so the correct script loads on published pages.

You create and publish a tags property in Experience Platform, verify the IMS configuration in Experience Manager, add a tags cloud configuration, and apply it to your site.

You then verify the tags library appears on a published page so personalization code can load without redeploying Experience Manager.

After this step the tags library loads on your pages and you can update rules and extensions from tags without redeploying Experience Manager.

This completes the setup phase and prepares you to add the Web SDK and configure personalization for experimentation.
