Create a form data model for profile retrieval

In this step you create a Form Data Model (FDM) in Experience Manager Forms to retrieve profile data from Experience Platform. You configure a read-only unified profile object that uses the Get Profile by ID Read service and accepts Entity ID and Entity NS as input parameters. You map XDM schema attributes to the unified profile so contact details, addresses, identifiers, and custom fields are available for data binding. You test the FDM in the Test Form Data Model screen by passing the required JSON request attributes and verifying the returned profile data. You validate the connection and finalize the FDM so it is ready to bind to adaptive forms or interactive communications.

Next Steps

Create Interactive Communication Fragments

After you validate the FDM, create interactive communication fragments to assemble reusable content for your documents. These fragments let you maintain consistent content and speed up creation of interactive communications.
