Local vs. global assets
In Marketo Engage, an asset is a piece of content associated with one or more programs. You often hear assets referred to as either local or global.

Local asset

Stored in Marketing Activities within the program.

Name is appended to program name. For example, "LE-2022-09-15-Seminar.Invitation-Email".

- Landing page for a specific product

Global asset
Global Asset

Used across programs.

Stored in the Design Studio.

Asset name stands alone. For example, "Sales-Alert-Email".
