Find and create a basic board

Get a better understanding for what a Board is and how it can benefit you and/or your team in managing work. See where to access boards and how to create a basic board.

Boards in Workfront are pages where work being done by a team can be created, updated, and shared. You can almost think of it like using whiteboards and sticky notes, but virtually, and it’s organized into columns. Boards provide a much more flexible and effortless way of collaborating on and updating work with members of your team. Any board you’ve created or been given access to can be found in the Boards area of Workfront. Simply go to the main menu, click on Boards, and the screen will refresh to show any boards you’ve created or that you’ve been given access to. From here, you can click on the title of the board to get into it and see the work being done by you and your team. If you don’t see Boards in your list of options, please contact your Workfront administrator. If there aren’t any Boards currently available, or if you need to create a new board either for yourself or a team, click on the Create New button. The screen will refresh to the board page where you can enter the title of the board. And there you have it. You’ve created a simple board. From here, you can start adding cards, team members, and statuses.
