Invalidating the CDN Cache for AEM Dynamic Media

This video walks through the process of invalidating the CDN cache by way of Dynamic Media.

Hello, everyone. In this video, we will show you how to invalidate CDN cache for Dynamic Media assets. When you make updates to Dynamic Media assets, you want those changes to take effect immediately on your website. Invalidating the CDN cache, lets you quickly update these assets and you can send a request from within Dynamic Media to have the cache expire within minutes. To do so, go to AEM homepage and open Tools, using the hammer icon at the left side of the screen. Now, select assets and then click on CDN invalidation. On the CDN invalidation, add details page. Enter the full URL paths to Dynamic Media assets whose CDN cache, you want to invalidate. You can invalidate up to 1000 URLs at a given time. Now click on, Next at the upper right corner of the page. On the CDN invalidation confirm page, you can see the list of URLs of the assets you just added. Now click on, Submit at the upper right corner of the page to begin the CDN invalidation process. It will take a few seconds to be completed. Once done, you will get a CDN invalidated successfully message, on your screen. This is how you can invalidate CDN cache for Dynamic Media Assets.
