“Target Traces” does not appear in Adobe Experience Platform Debugger

If Target Traces does not appear in AEP Debugger, ensure that you sign in to an organization where Adobe Target is used and enable the Target Trace toggle.

  • Adobe Experience Platform
  • Adobe Target

Issue/Symptoms

The Target Traces tab does not appear in Adobe Experience Platform Debugger.

Resolution

Check the following conditions first:

  • The user must sign in an organization where Adobe Target is used on the website.
  • The Target Trace toggle switch in Target > Configuration > Target Debugging Tools section must be enabled.

If the issue remains despite above conditions, please attempt the following steps below.

  • Create a new browser profile

    On Chrome browser:

    1. Click profile icon on the top right corner; then click Add.
    2. Install Adobe Experience Platform Debugger extension for the new profile.
  • Reset browser settings to default

    On Chrome browser:

    1. At the top right, select More icon and then go to Settings.
    2. Select Reset settings > Restore settings to their original defaults > Reset settings.
    3. After the settings are reset, re-enable the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger extension.
