In this video, we’ll walk through how to set up your store, shipping and delivery settings. To change your shipping configurations, first from the admin panel, navigate to stores. Under settings, click on configuration, from here you’ll want to scroll down to sales and then click on shipping settings.
Now under origin, you’ll be able to edit the address in which your shipment shipped from and under shipping policy parameters you’ll be able to input a custom shipping policy. The default option here is no, but if you uncheck use system value here and change the option to yes, you’ll, then be able to enter text about your custom shipping policy. You can also enable multi shipping settings and to do that scroll down back to the sales section again and click on multi shipping settings. Here the default settings are set to yes, allowing up to a hundred items of a unit to be shipped to multiple addresses. To change the settings, you simply uncheck the use system value boxes again and revise the inputs as needed. Lastly, we’ll walk through how to change your delivery methods. We’ll navigate to delivery methods again, under sales and here you’ll have a few options. First, you can set a flat rate if you want to provide one shipping fee per item or per order. Secondly, you can set up free shipping for either all of your orders or orders that meet a certain condition such as, if an order is over a hundred dollars. You can also set up table rates which are different shipping fees based on various conditions that you can set such as weight, number of items, price and destination. And lastly, you can set up in-store delivery, if you want to be able to provide your customers the option to check if an item is in stock in a store near them and place the order for pickup. We also have these main shipping services UPS, USPS, FedEx and DHL in the configuration so that you can enter in your business account information and preferred settings right within the admin panel.
