ACSD-54961: Restricted admin user can’t mass update Product Review status

The ACSD-54961 patch fixes the issue where a restricted admin user can’t mass update Product Review status. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.40 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-54961. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.7.

The patch is created for Adobe Commerce version:

• Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.5-p4

Compatible with Adobe Commerce versions:

• Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.0 - 2.4.6-p3

Issue

A restricted admin user can’t mass update Product Review status.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create an additional website, store, and store view.
2. Add a product to the 2nd store, and then add a review.
3. Create a restricted admin user with access to only the 2nd store.
4. Log in as the restricted admin user, then go to ** Marketings** > Reviews > Mass Update, and set the Status to Approved or Pending.

Expected results:

The restricted admin user can update reviews using the Mass Update action.

Actual results:

An error occurs while updating reviews using Mass Update action.

The var/log/exception.log contains a similar error:

report.CRITICAL: TypeError: array_intersect(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, null given in app/code/Magento/AdminGws/Model/Models.php:439
