ACSD-53824: Deployment is failing on setup upgrade

The ACSD-53824 patch fixes the issue where the deployment is failing on setup upgrade. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.38 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-53824. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.7.

The patch is created for Adobe Commerce version:

• Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.5 - p2

Compatible with Adobe Commerce versions:

• Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.4 - 2.4.6-p2

Issue

The deployment is failing on setup upgrade.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install the infrastructure with MariaDB on Galera Cluster.
2. Set the wsrep_max_ws_size up to 2GB.
3. Install a new Adobe Commerce instance.
4. Generate the fixtures from medium performance profile:
   php bin/magento setup:performance:generate-fixtures -s setup/performance-toolkit/profiles/ee/medium.xml
5. Generate more than 12000 multi-select attributes.
6. Then use the Run setup: Upgrade command.

Expected results:

The setup:upgrade completes without errors.

Actual results:

The setup:upgrade fails with MySQL errors:

Allowed memory size of 6442450944 bytes exhausted in ../module-catalog/Setup/Patch/Data/UpdateMultiselectAttributesBackendTypes.php
