ACSD-51630: Numerous system messages slow download of Admin Pages

The ACSD-51630 patch fixes the performance issue where a large amount of system messages slows the downloading of Admin Pages. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.34 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-51630. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.7.

The patch is created for Adobe Commerce version:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.5-p2

Compatible with Adobe Commerce versions:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.3 < 2.4.6-p1
NOTE

The patch might become applicable to other versions with new Quality Patches Tool releases. Issue

Numerous system messages slow download of Admin Pages

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make a large number of requests (~50k) to DELETE /rest/async/v1/products/ {sku}.
  2. Access any Admin Page.

Expected results:

Page loads in a suitable time. Only messages being displayed should be loaded.

Actual results:

Page takes too long to load. All existing messages are loaded from the database.
