ACSD-45520: Swatch options not selected on product detail page

The ACSD-45520 patch fixes the issue where swatch options are not pre-selected on the product detail page when a user edits configurable products from the shopping cart. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.17 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-45520. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.6.

Affected products and versions

The patch is created for Adobe Commerce version:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.4.4

Compatible with Adobe Commerce versions:

  • Adobe Commerce (all deployment methods) 2.3.0 - 2.4.4
NOTE

The patch might become applicable to other versions with new Quality Patches Tool releases. To check if the patch is compatible with your Adobe Commerce version, update the magento/quality-patches package to the latest version and check the compatibility on the Quality Patches Tool: Search for patches page. Use the patch ID as a search keyword to locate the patch.

Issue

Swatch options are not selected on the product detail page when a user edits configurable products from the cart.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a configurable product with product options (e.g. color).
  2. Add the configurable product to the cart.
  3. Go to the My Cart page.
  4. Click the edit button on the configurable product added in Step 1.
  5. Observe the product options on the edit page.

Expected results:

Product options are selected.

Actual results:

Product options are not selected.
