MDVA-40609: Disabled products data absent in cataloginventory_stock_status table

The MDVA-40609 patch solves the issue where the disabled products data is not shown in the cataloginventory_stock_status index table leading to displaying incorrect product quantities. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.6 is installed. The patch ID is MDVA-40609. Please note that the issue was fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.3.

The patch is created for Adobe Commerce version:

NOTE
The patch might become applicable to other versions with new Quality Patches Tool releases. Issue

Disabled products data is not shown in the cataloginventory_stock_status index table leading to displaying incorrect product quantities.

Prerequisites:

Inventory module is installed.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Set up two websites with stores and store views.

  2. Create an additional source and stock.

  3. Add a simple product:

    • Set Enable Product to No.
    • Assign two sources with Source Item Status = Instock and Qty greater than zero.
  4. Save the product.

  5. Check the Product Salable Quantity tab.

Expected results:

Both stocks have entered values greater than zero.

Actual results:

One stock has zero value.
