Certification journey for Adobe Workfront Core Developer Professional

Learn how to become a certified Adobe Workfront Core Developer professional.

Minimum experience

You should have:

  • At least 3 - 6 months of hands-on experience using Adobe Workfront
  • Experience with Adobe Workfront functionality and connectivity through intake, approval, planning, executing, and reporting
  • An in-depth understanding of Adobe Workfront object types, including custom forms and approval workflows, templates, durations, work effort/planned hours
  • An in-depth understanding of Adobe Workfront Setup, including access levels, layout templates, project preferences, and other methods to achieve simplicity of end-user design
  • An understanding of and experience with process mapping
  • An understanding of different Adobe Workfront personas and how to engage in support

And, you should have:

  • Familiarity with Workfront API and API explorer, but not necessarily proficient in API calls
  • The ability to use custom API calls for working with Workfront and other APIs
  • Familiarity with Adobe Workfront
  • Familiarity with native connectors and other Adobe Workfront products and services
  • Familiarity with project management including agile and waterfall, and resource management concepts

Your certification is valid for two years from when you pass. We recommend taking the newer version when possible, because it covers newer product capabilities.

You are not required to complete training before taking the exam, and training alone will not provide you with the knowledge and skills required to pass the exam. About the certification exam

Adobe uses Examity to administer proctored exams online. In the Examity portal, you can:

  • Schedule, reschedule or cancel your exam. Please note that canceling and rescheduling must be initiated prior to 48 hours before the scheduled exam appointment. Candidates must modify this appointment themselves.

  • Pay for your exam. Pay for your certification exam either by voucher or credit card in the Examity portal. To purchase an exam voucher go to: Adobe Certification Voucher System. You can apply the voucher code when you schedule your exam. If you have a discount, it will apply at checkout.
