Taking your exam

Your Adobe ID

Your profile name in the Adobe Credential Management System must exactly match your Government ID. Failure to have identical information or any mismatch will result in the proctor terminating the exam and will require you to reschedule your appointment in addition to paying an additional exam fee.

Cancelling and rescheduling

Cancellations and rescheduling are usually possible if initiated prior to 48 hours before the scheduled exam appointment. Candidates must modify this appointment themselves.

Neither Adobe Support or Examity can process rescheduling and cancellation requests. Cancellations under 48 hours are subject to a rescheduling fee in addition to the exam fee.

If you are unable to reschedule your exam, even though it is more than 48 hours prior to your exam, that may be because there is a new version of the exam. If your appointment was for the previous version of the exam, you will not be able to reschedule your exam appointment. We recommend that you keep your exam appointment if at all possible. If you cannot, you will need to cancel your exam and schedule a new appointment to take the new exam.

After your exam

Once you complete an exam, you receive a provisional pass or fail. The final score can take up to 72 hours to populate. You will find your result and score report under the History tab in the Adobe Credential Manager.

If you fail to pass an Adobe certification exam on your first attempt, you must wait at least 24 hours before retaking the exam. Failure to pass an exam on the second or any subsequent attempt requires a waiting period of 14 calendar days before retaking the exam. Each attempt will incur a separate exam fee.

accordion
When do exam vouchers expire? How long are they good for?
Adobe exam vouchers expire 12 months after purchase. Vouchers cannot be extended past their expiration date. Exam registrations must be scheduled, paid for, and taken before the exam voucher expiration date.
accordion
Can vouchers be returned for credit or refund?

All sales are final. Returns and refunds are not accepted. Adobe exam vouchers are purchased at an exam level, not for specific exams, and that provides flexibility.

  • Example: When you buy 10 Adobe Certified Expert-level exam vouchers, and distribute them, you don’t have to know ahead of time or plan who will take which Expert exam.
  • Administrators can assign the voucher to a user and see if the voucher was viewed, redeemed or when the exam is scheduled or took place.

What kind of payments are accepted?

Payment may be made by (all major) credit cards. Payments via credit card require acceptance of an online click-wrap agreement. The different payment options are:

  • Credit card: All major credit cards accepted.
  • Xwallet: This will subtract the order amount from your Xwallet pool.
accordion
Is there a minimum or maximum number of vouchers I can purchase?
No, there is no minimum or maximum. Customer purchases are only limited based on available funds, such as a credit card limit or bank account balance for wire transfers.
accordion
How long will it take to get access to vouchers after I place my order?

Vouchers will be available immediately after purchase if paying via credit card or Xwallet.

  • If you purchase for others, log into your Xvoucher account and distribute the vouchers to your end-users from there.
  • If paying via wire or purchase order, voucher orders will be released when Xvoucher has received the funds.
