This video explains how to preview your email and the anti-spam analysis.
In this video, I will explain how you can preview your message in the Email Designer. You first have to make sure that you add test profiles in the audience window of your delivery.
Once you’ve added the test audience, the preview functionality in the Email Designer becomes available. This will allow you to preview your message, to check its personalization, and how your recipients will see your delivery.
Let’s take a look. Click on the preview link to access the preview.
Both the desktop, as well as the mobile preview, are available.
For emails, an automatic anti-spam checking is performed during each preview.
Click the anti-spam analysis button to find out more about any warnings you might have.
For this delivery we have a warning. You can see that the score is 7.7, which is not ideal. The maximum authorized score is two. The higher the score, the higher the probability that your message becomes classified as spam. Below, in the description, you see the analysis. You can see different areas within your email contribute to the high spam score. Fixing these issues should improve your spam score significantly. Now let’s take a look at our previews. Select the change profile link to choose the test profile you want to test the personalization elements on.
I will choose Aaron McDonald as my test profile. Let’s see what happens.
The personalization has been applied correctly. To exit the preview mode, click the edit button on the top left of the screen.
