This video demonstrates how to integrate Dynamics 365 with Adobe Campaign Classic.

Hi there, today I’m excited to show you how to integrate Adobe Campaign Classic into Dynamics 365. The first thing that we need to do is come over to our settings in Dynamics.
From here we’re able to go over to our Customizations and in this is where we’re gonna see our Developer Resources.
So Developer Resources are where we see all the key information we need for setting up this integration here.
So here I’ve got a variety of IDs, the one that we really wanna focus on today for connecting Dynamics into Campaign is this Unique Name. All you’ll wanna do is just copy that and we’re gonna paste it in just a moment right into Campaign. So let’s switch over to Campaign. So switching over to Campaign Classic here, and by the way I’m finding my external accounts in the Platform settings here. We’ll go full screen with the integration piece here, and the first thing that I want to do is make sure that this integration is of course enabled. So it’s a simple click here, and for the purposes of this demo we are using Dynamics 365, but there are a variety of integrations with other versions. So our account and server information as well as our password are gonna be the information that you use when you sign into Dynamics on the web. So server is just that URL, account is probably your email address, and then of course password is the same password you put in. Company name is gonna be that piece of information that we just copied from the dashboard from the developer resources in Dynamics. Now clicking on here will verify that integration, and what you’ll see is we’re gonna pull up a full list of all of the different tables that we have available in Dynamic. So this is the first step in confirming that your integration is working. So what you see here are all the different tables, including custom ones that I have accessible for me in Dynamics. Today we’re just gonna focus on the Lead Table, but we can pull in as many as we want. It just takes a minute to scan through that schema, pull the table definitions in. Then all you really need to do is once this processing is complete and it’s created the new schema for your Dynamics integration log in, log out and then when you come back in what you’ll see is that this external account has been configured. Now you’ll also notice that we have marketing history URLs and URLs for lead subscriptions. These are for some levels of integration that we’ll cover in a later video. But for today, the other piece that I want to touch on is the enumerations feature, so all the lists that you have stored within Dynamics able to pull those in, including the custom ones here. Now what we’ll do next is actually look at the schema that was created here. So again in our configuration we have all our data schemas for the system. You can see this new one that was created, we can do a quick peruse of this. We also have the documentation for all the different fields that are coming in for Dynamics, again this is custom fields as well as out of the box fields.
Now to finalize this integration, what we do is we’ll pull in our CRM connector, and we’re gonna configure this to pull in the integration we just set up here.
So we’ve got our Dynamics, we’ll label this with Dynamics 365 Data Import. This is going to be an import from CRM, but we also have export, deletion as well. Our external account that we just created is the Dynamics 365 one, and on doing that it pulls up the different tables we’ve synchronized. So here you can see the lead table that we’ve just brought in is available. Next what we want to do, is pull in and map the fields from CRM to Campaign. This is pretty easy if we look in here, we’re seeing all the fields within that lead table from Dynamics here. So all those different fields are available, I can bring in as many or as few as I want, but one that I have to bring in is my Lead ID. We’re gonna tie this into our Marketing ID. So a few other ones that I’m bringing in for today’s example.
At this point, I’m just gonna run the workflow to show you the importing of that data here. So you can see we have 21 records that have come through. We’ll display the target, and sure enough we’ll see all the information about these different leads here. The fields that we chose to bring in. We can also go over to our schema to see those different fields, and by the way you click this little thing in the corner and it allows you to actually see internal names. So this is an example of how to set up your integration between Campaign Classic and Dynamics 365.
